OOTD: Plus Size Pearl Outfit
I can’t be the only one who has noticed the adorable trend of PEARLS on just about everything lately! It started earlier this year (maybe even last year) with the abundance of double pearl hair clips on just about everybody. Then we started seeing bags, and eventually even clothing with pearls! But what about plus size pearl looks? Got it covered!
I personally am absolutely HERE for an embellished look, so check out how I created a whole look themed around pearls! Lets check it out!
ps: This page might have some affiliate links in it, like all pages on my blog.
As for my pearl pieces, I am wearing this flowy pearl-embellished top from Eloquii in a size 20. I am normally an 18/20 US, but since this top was non stretchy and I have larger arms, I wanted the fit to be flown and the sizing was perfect. An 18 probably would have worked too but I didn’t want to risk it!
Where the Pearl Trend Started: Hair Clips
I actually got my pearl and rhinestone clips from STARFALL, but since I think they are sold out, I’ve linked some others that I think are amazing (and I actually have one of these sets also!)
I have seen so any cool tutorials and ideas for styling clips like these and I’m glad I’ve stocked up on a few when I’ve seen them!
Plus Size Pearl Embellished Blouse
I was able to score this plus size pearl top from Eloquii on Black Friday (or around then) and have it shipped to my home! It was part of my FIRST PURCHASE EVER from Eloquii after months of seeing them in my IG feed. I am so please with the fit and quality.
As I mentioned earlier I’m wearing the top in a size 20 and had room and it fit great. I would definitely say its true to size. I paired it with a simple black tank but you could totally edge it up with a lace bra or bralette!
I purchased this handbag a few months back and I had packed it on a trip and even set it aside and kept forgetting to wear it! I already have a pearl sweater from earlier this year that I knew would work with it (along with lots of other things). When I scored this new black top it was just the perfect time to finally get to wear it!
The EXACT bag seems elusive online (I got it from a small shop in LA without a website), but this is the closest I’ve found by far. It’s very pricey so I also researched and found some super similar looks like this one, this one and this one. These more affordable dupes are all great options and under $30 (at time of writing).
Overall I am so glad I slowly accumulated these amazing pieces as they spoke to me, and they came together so perfectly! I would love to hear from you about where you are finding cute pearl pieces (or any other on-trend items you’re loving!)
