Spring Outfit Inspiration: No Buy Style Challenge
Looking for some spring outfit inspiration? Look no further! Plus, you already have everything you need to re-create your own version (seriously!) Read on to see what I mean…
Spring is officially here and as a California girl I AM EXCITED! But, I have a confession to make: during the process of moving to our new apartment I have discovered a LOT of clothing that I purchased and have either never worn or only worn once or twice. That’s why I was SO stoked to be asked to do a super fun blogging collaboration featuring no buy style! I am going to share my look inspired by my friend Brita, along with two other blogger gals’ take on the look!
So let’s dive right into some pastel spring outfit inspiration!
Brita’s look is totally up my alley and I was so excited to put my spin on her version! She used spring pastels as her inspiration. This was actually perfect for me for the ‘no buy’ part of this because with winter ending, my pastels haven’t been getting much action lately! I knew I wanted to try to find something with EITHER similar colors or a FLORAL inspiration like her accessories. Luckily I was able to find BOTH!

My Take on her Spring Outfit Inspiration
I started out by looking for pinks and purples and/or pastels and I instantly spotted this floral dress. The fact that it had a floral print was just a bonus! I bought this dress at Target last summer to take with me to the Taco Bell Hotel in Palm Springs. If I’m being honest, I don’t even remember if I got to wear it. I may have worn it for a couple hours, but that was it. I was so glad I found it and reminded myself I can literally shop in my own closet.
Taking a note from Brita’s sparkly skirt (and because I adore glitter) I knew I wanted to try to add a little sparkle to my look. I found this clutch/crossbody bag that I got last year and have NEVER WORN. Before you say it, I know, I know I really need to start using what I have. Anyways, because I wanted this look to be casual and wearable for everyday, I had added a very casual neutral sandal and I thought the natural texture on the clutch complemented it and dressed it down.
Overall, I am really happy with this look. I loved Brita’s original look, so it was easy for me to be inspired. I’m excited to see what other looks I’ll be able to make from things I already have!
