Plus Size Style: One Top, Two Ways

How I Used One $13 Shirt to Style Two Outfits in Paris

First things, first, here is the $13 plus size shirt I took with me on the trip. Its from SheIn, and it was the first time I had ever ordered from them. I was on the fence, but I ordered 10 items and loved it all. Like I was literally shocked by how much I LOVED everything. As for this specific plus size top, you can find it HERE.

The first way that I styled this top was inspired by classic Parisian imagery with a vintage flair. I paired the top with a black pleated LuLaRoe Jill skirt from Rocking and Roeing, a pale pink beret and some pearl accessories. Since it was winter, I added opaque tights.

I loved the overall look of this black and white look. It was also very easy to mix and match since the top was black and white and the majority of my other pieces in this look were black. It also allowed for me to add that touch of pink with the pearl-embellished beret without worrying about colors clashing.

The top’s fit was exactly true to the websites measurement recommendations by size. I’m normally a size 18, and I’m wearing the 3xl, which was exactly in line with their conversion. I would recommend following the measurements for each piece, as it worked for me every time!

The second way I ended up styling this plus size top (available in 0x-3x) was for wandering around on a Sunday, heading to brunch, and shopping for souvenirs. I wanted something really relaxed and little more edgy, as I was wearing denim and knee-high boots. I opted for a more modern pairing: stripes and leopard. I wore the LuLaRoe Wendy long-line blazer with my favorite jeans and boots from Torrid.

I definitely thought that this look was perfect for brunch and a Sunday Funday. I was comfy and not restricted at all, but still felt appropriate for a nice restaurant we went to. I’m also looking forward to trying this top with more distressed denim, as well as a pencil skirt.

Finding pieces that work in multiple ways is really important to me! It makes packing AND dressing way easier. Plus, its just a good investment. And overall, this top definitely did the trick.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I styled this top! If you’re looking for more help packing for your next trip, check out the post on the most forgotten items, or get your FREE printable packing list!
